Day 2!! #Getfitwit_Day
Day 2 OMG! Ok so I just knew this was going to be easy and for the most part it is... Only thing is I'm still having to cook food for my daughter and lawd it smells so good... From Kale, to baked potatoes, to Mac and cheese, roasted kale corn and etc. Ahhhh the joys of motherhood lol!! Well I made it through day one and day two, but today I was experiencing detox symptoms that were painful. I was suffering from a headache and dizziness. I really didn't want to break my detox so I relaxed from working out 2 hrs and minimized it to 45 mins as well as snacked on two pieces of pineapple. I feel so much better now! Day three bring it on. I'm ready for whatever challenges day three brings on!!!

Wow I actually started my first fitness challenge. With the help of Green Thick I'm using her ingredients combine with my own to create the #GetFitWit_Day Challenge. I'm very pleased with the excitement and interest I'm receiving from fellow followers and friends. Everyone has been inquiring about the grocery list and recipes... I'm very pleased to know that people are actually interested in this life style I talk so much about. I'm a very healthy eater, and I love juicing period. I want to aim towards a more healthier life all around and not just with food. Eating healthy is a huge start for most people and I am so happy to be able to not only inspire but help those on their journey for a more healthier living. Cheers to #GetFitWit_Day and Green Thick for allowing me to blend their recipes with my own. It's going to be an awesome but yet interesting 7 Days!!!

Learning to SPEAK MY TRUTH!!!
Holding back my truth, or biting my tongue has negatively affected my energy and my life! We should not have to tip toe over our words or filter out content (profanity yes) or even silence our voice because of the way another person may take our statements. I am a firm believer in "I'm responsible for what I said, not what you heard, or how you take it!" The throat chakra is the voice of the body and study shows that mine is blocked and weak.
When it is in balance I can express what I think and what I feel. I can communicate my ideas, beliefs, and emotions. When the throat chakra is in balance and open, I can bring my personal truth out into the world. I can speak without regret about my feelings and more. I need to clear my throat chakra!!
When it is out of balance spiritually I find myself lying, feeling fear and doubt about the intentions of others, or find myself stammering or at a loss for words because I'm taking others reactions ( not feelings) into account. I have feelings of being misunderstood or my words taken out of content with repercussions like "attitude, silence, avoiding each other"... Who wants to live like that... I rather have all those symptoms but at the end of the day knowing I spoke my truth and said what needed to be said!!!

The Real Measures Of Success
If you wish to measure your success in life, don’t measure your success according to how much money is in your bank account, the type of car you drive, house you live in, your job title, relationship status or any other superficial badge society loves to pin on your resume. Just count the moments you spend peacefully in laughter. The moments that you are able to sit back and enjoy silence, calmness, That’s what success is – living happily in your own way, and laughing at the highs, the lows, and all the ridiculous moments in between. You can have all the riches in the world but without peace of mind it's nothing, without your sanity, family and people you can truly call friends, it's nothing. I'm aiming for this type of success, as well as living comfortably with no financial worries. That will be a life well spent. Knowing that I am happy with life and not out there chasing a superficial opinion that I may never see, be, or live up to.

My Hopes And Dreams
The very least you can do in your life is figure out what you hope for, and there are not many things that I hope for. For the things I do hope for the most that I can do is live inside that hope as I work for what I want.
Do not admire what you hope for from a distance, but live right in it. Get deeply involved with the thoughts and activities that keep your hope alive and your intention possible. When you deviate from your goals, hopes, and dreams, that is when they seem less possible. I want to keep hope alive lol... The minor things that I hope for, I know will happen one day. I just gotta stay focus, open minded and positive...
